The people of Wigan are building an online portrait of their city, it's a great source of everyday photography shared by a warm, generous community. They are adding new photo's daily, I love this group picture of C&A staff, taken around 1971.

I am a costume designer. Whilst at work I see many things - fascinating and inspiring; the benefits of my profession.
An additional interest in workwear, the pleasure of being able to guess at a person's occupation or background by their dress. Recreating this, realistically or otherwise but always believably is, after all, the job.
