Researching for Genius I bought quite a few old catalogues, this one, a Sears, Roebuck & Co. from 1929 was a particularly useful Ebay find. I am trying to find out whether or not it's in the public domain, if so I will share the whole thing, it's only small. My favourite page was the sporty selection above.

This is Henk Theuns, proud owner of the world's largest collection of cycle jerseys.
For my latest job I had to do a whole lot of research on the cycle jerseys of the Tour de France and Henk was the contact who helped us find the references for the most obscure of jerseys.

Two of the great things about our job are that throughout the whole process we are able to meet people we would never otherwise come across and we get into places often closed to the public. In this case we went to Henk's private collection and were allowed to rummage and research for the whole afternoon, in between our many coffee and biscuit breaks.

A former cyclist and now photographer of the sport, Henk was a great host on our research trip to Rotterdam.
